Photography and Conservation Project

The second photo shoot for our Photography and Conservation Project took place at the end of November. The project involves a number of registered participants taking photos of the work in progress on The Arcade over the year or so of the restoration. As well as collectively collating an impressive portfolio of images to document the transformation of The Arcade, participants also learn a little about the conservation principles and practices that are being followed during the restoration. As well as the registered participants, a few guest photographers have participated in each of the two photo shoots.

One of the participants, Lucille Moore, is a professional photographer. Check out her online gallery of the photos that she took at the end of November.

Lucille is a Yorkshire-based commercial photographer who helps business owners and entrepreneurs to build their brand, showcase their personality and tell the story of their business with imagery. You can view her services and portfolio by following the link below:

The next photos shoot for the project will likely be on February, at which point this should be looking significantly different! We’re looking forward to it already!
